Graveside memorial services for Winifred M. Daniels, 87, Stanton, formerly of Garner, who died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1996, at the Stanton Care Center following an extended illness, will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 11:30 a.m., at the Concord Township Cemetery, Garner, with the Rev. Willis Nicholson officiating.

Burial of ashes will be at the Concord Township Cemetery. Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel in Red Oak will be in charge of arrangements.

Winifred Daniels, the daughter of Christian and Bessie Nelson, was born February 18, 1909, in Garner. She attended school in Garner and graduated from Cedar Falls State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She then taught school in Jesup until her marriage.

April 18, 1930, she married Edward Bradwell in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1950.

August 21, 1952, she married Clinton Daniels in Garner. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1983.

Winifred was a member of the Garner Presbyterian Church, was a 40 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and also served as Worthy Matron. She also was a member of the Federated Womens Club of Garner.

She is survived by a son, Robert Bradwell, and his wife, Penny of Hot Springs, AR; a daughter, Nancy Housh, and her husband, Ray of Red Oak; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and a daughter, Kristena Claude on August 24, 1992.
