Ralph Bastin Services Held

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Ralph Clifford Bastin 72, Forest City, from Olson Funeral Home.

Mr. Bastin died Saturday at his home in Forest City. Burial was in Madison cemetery. Rev. Max Goldman officiated.

Mr. Bastin lived near Crystal Lake for several years before moving to Frest City where he made his home many years. His life work has been farming and road grading. He had worked with Earl Fox for some 11 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Daisy McCord and Mrs. Myrtle Tebay of Hampton; a half brother, Robert Bastin of Isles Boro, Maine and a half sister, Mr. Ida Chapman in Venezuela, South America.
