Mrs. C. Church, mother of C. M. Church of our city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hiams, at Rowen, Iowa, Sunday March 3rd, age 93 years. Mrs. Church was one of the early settlers in this part of the county and was highly respected and well known to all of the older residents here. The remains were brought here for burial. Funeral services were held at the U. B. church conducted by Rev. Langdon and the body laid to rest by the side of her husband who died about 20 years ago. - Goodell Globe
