Rev. C. H. VanMetre was called to Belmond on Wednesday to officiate at the funeral of the mother of Theodore Wright. She died at Sioux City and the body was sent to the home of her son in Belmond. A short service was held at the home at eleven o'clock and the body was taken to Goodell and services were held in the Methodist church at that place. Interment in Goodell cemetery. Goodell and vicinity was the home of these good people for many years.
