Stanley, 17-Year-Old Son Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rutz, Died Sunday

Stanley Rutz, 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rutz, who occupy the tenant house on the farm leased by J. T. Gatchell, about one mile south and east of Garner, died Sunday night of pleural pneumonia.

His last illness was of short duration, as he was taken sick the previous Thursday. Stanley was not strong and fell an easy victim to the pneumonia attack.

The Rutz family have resided at the Gatchell farm for nearly three years, or ever since the place has been occupied by the Gatchells.

Stanley was born at Pontiac, Ill., April 17, 1918. He was one of eight children. These children, three girls and four boys, along with his parents, mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church, Garner, today (Wednesday) at 2 o'clock. The Rev. T. Ernest Hoon, pastor, will be in charge. Interment will be in Concord cemetery.
