Mrs. LeRoy Rockenfield
Mrs. LeRoy Rockenfield, 81, 407 Omaha St., a Sioux City resident for 65 years died at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Rockenfield, the former Ercell Carmen Wright, was born May 27, 1889 at Greyling, Mich. She moved to Sioux City in 1906 and had lived here since. She was married to LeRoy Rockenfield Feb 18, 1919, at Elk Point. Mr. Rockenfield died Oct. 29, 1953, in Sioux City.
Mrs. Rockenfield was a self employed dressmaker and furrier, and she operated her shop in her home.
Survivors are a son, Carl Crane of Sioux City; a brother, Earl Wright of Sioux City.
The body was taken to the Manning - O'Toole Funeral Home.

Mrs. LeRoy Rockenfield
Funeral services for Mrs. LeRoy Rockenfield, 81, 407 Omaha St., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Manning - O'Toole Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold E. Bartz, pastor of Whitfield United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Concord Cemetery in Garner, Iowa.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Yoeman, James Piersol, Wallace Johnson, Denny Hartog, Lawrence Prim and Peter Schieffer Jr.
