Death Of Fred Pueggel
Fred Pueggel died Tuesday following a long illness. Mr. Pueggel was an early settler and a charter member of St. John's church. He leaves a wife and six children all of whom are married and living near here.
Mr. Pueggel had been sick for three months and was nearly eighty years old. The funeral was held on Friday at the St. John's church, the Rev. Wolfrom officiating.

An Old Resident Buried Friday
Fredrick Pueggel Passed Away Nov. 26 - Had Lived Here 47 YearsFredrick Pueggel who came to this county in the early eighties, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26. He was born Jan. 14th, 1853, in Germany. He came to this country when 16 years of age. He lived in New York, Wisc., and Illinois for a few years. In 1882 he was married at Joliet, Ill., soon after which he moved here, buying a farm across the road from St. John's church. Here he has lived all these years, a highly respected and prosperous citizen. He was one of the charter members of the St. John's church and gave the church the ground upon which the church was built.
Mr. Pueggel had been ailing for three years, and had been confined to his bed for nine weeks.
He leaves a wife and seven children: Gus A., William, Herman, Mrs. Julia Boehnke, Mrs. Frank Thada, Mrs. Ed Boehnke, and Clara who lives at home.
The funeral was held last Friday from the St. John's church.
