Only A Pauper - Mary Olson who has been a county charge for a number of years past, died last Friday; and Saturday afternoon her remains were buried in the Concord cemetery. Not a relative, if she had any, followed her body to the grave: Not a prayer was said, Not a hymn sung: but silently and alone, the overseer of the poor, the hearse driver and sexton lowered her body into the grave, to rest for eye. With not even a friend to shed a parting tear, was her life worth living ?
