Body Of Mrs. C. Schroeder Brought Back For Burial

Corwith - The body of Mrs. Carl Schroeder was brought back from Edenburg, Tex., for burial in the Corwith cemetery beside the body of her husband in the family lot. Mr. [Mrs.] Schroeder died last Dec. 10, 1943.

Mrs. Sophia Jensen was born Jul. 20, 1858 at Zenssen, Germany. She was married to Carl Schroeder in 1885 and lived in Germany for 10 years before coming to America in 1895. They then lived on a farm at Nevada, Ill. for nine years and later moved to a farm in Boone county. They moved to Corwith when they retired from the farm until Mr. Schroeder's death on March 14, 1939.

She is survived by two children, are living, Mrs. Anna Gernantz of Eldenburg with whom she made her home after her husband's death and Frank of St. Loius, Mo.

The Rev. Rust had charge of the services at the cemetery and the men's quartet, Rev. Rust, Lloyd Stroun, Emery Long and Howard Hunsley sang.
