Gilbert Kropp

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 1982, at the United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. for Gilbert Milton Kropp, 77, who died at his home in Goodell on Monday. Rev. Don Griffin will officiate. Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell. Fulton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gilbert Kropp was born June 2, 1904 at Garner to Rosa Bredlow Kropp. He received his education in a rural school near Garner.

On January 11, 1928, he married Alice Schlichting at Klemme. He retired from farming many years ago.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one half-sister, and one half-brother. Surviving are his wife, Alice of Goodell; two half-brothers: Orville Kropp and Lester Kropp, both of Garner and four half-sisters: Lucille Drugg of Forest City, Hilda (Mrs. Kenneth) Bell and Viola (Mrs. Leon) Kropp, both of Garner and Neva Hartzell of Klemme.

Casket bearers will be George Beek, Marlin Brinkman, Garfield Halverson, Jr., Larry Langlitz, Vern Schluter and George Steenhart.
