Larry G. Lange 1942-1995
Services for Larry G. Lange, 52, Klemme, who died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995 at North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City, were held Thursday, March 2, 1:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Klemme with Rev. Jerry Robertson as officiant.
Music was provided by Muriel Schulz, oganist, and Joleen Jorgensen, vocalist.
Casket bearers were Don Wessels, Bob Hinman, Herb Greiman, Charles Larson, Richard Trampel and Bob Anderson.
Burial was at the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme, with Tenold Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Larry Gene Lange, the son of Glenn and Lois (Pringnitz) Lange, was born May 22, 1942 at Mason City. He attended Twin Lakes country school and graduated from Klemme High School in 1960.
July 31, 1965, he married Betty Koehler. He worked for Klemme Co-op Grain for a short time and has farmed since the early 60's on the home farm of Albert Lange.
Larry was a member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, metal working, hunting and work on the machinery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of rural Garner; a son Bert Lange and his wife, Barb of Clear Lake; daughters, LeAnn Heimer of Forest City, and Ranae Lange of Garner; grandchildren, Lance Heimer, Courtney Lange and Samantha Lange: one sister, Janet Abele and her husband, Robert of Garner; and brothers Gerald Lange and his wife, Sandy of Dubuque, and David Lange of Goodell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
