Services Today Mrs. B. Katter

Funeral services for Mrs. Ben Katter will be held today, with services at the house at 1:30 p.m., and from the Peace Reformed church (south of Garner) at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. D. Stuebbe will be in charge.

Mrs. Minnie M. Katter, nee Fuller, wife of Ben Katter, was born at Klemme on November 25, 1894. She was the youngest of four children born to William and Anna Fuller. In her early infancy she was baptized into Christianity at the Methodist church at Klemme. Mrs. Katter was a graduate of the Klemme high school.

On Wednesday evening, Oct 27, she suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the Mason City hospital, but human efforts were of no avail. Mrs. Katter died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct 31; she attained the age of 53 years, 11 months, and 6 days.

On December 18, 1914, Minnie Fuller was united in marriage to Ben Katter by the Rev. C.A. Schmid. They were the first couple to be married by the Rev. Schmid. At that time Mrs. Katter became a member of the Peace Reformed church of which she was an active member until her death.

After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Katter lived the entire time of farms in the vicinity of Garner (Except for a short period spent at Morris, Minn.) To this couple were born three sons; Duane, Cecil and Lyle.

Mrs. Katter was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, and she is survived by her husband, three sons; Duane of Garner; Cecil of Klemme, and Lyle who is at home; also by one brother, Albert Fuller of Amboy, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Ralph Elder of Klemme; and four grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Comfort in music is to be given by Mrs. Harvey Goll, Mrs. Clifford Anderson, Mrs. G. Wittenberg, Mrs. R. D. Stuebbe, Gideon Wittenberg, Elmer Huenemann, Victor Huenemann and Herman Stromer. They are to be accompanied by Miss Miriam Hunemann. Songs are, "Rock of Ages," and "Abide With Me."

Pallbearers are: William Fuller, John Fuller, Clarence Elder, Robert Katter, Kay Elling and Thomas Leese. Interment is to be made in the Peace Reformed church cemetery.

Garner Woman Dies Suddenly

Rites Wednesday for Mrs. Minnie Katter

Garner - Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie M. Katter, 52, wife of Ben Katter, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Peace Reformed church in Ell township, the Rev. R. D. Stuebbe officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Katter died Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at a hospital in Mason City after a long illness. She was taken there Wednesday with a heart ailment.

She was born at Klemme Nov. 25, 1894, the daughter of William and Anna Fuller, and was married Dec. 18, 1914, to Ben Katter. They lived in this community continually with the exception of a short time at Morris, Minn.

Besides her husband she leaves 3 sons, Duane, Garner; Cecil, Klemme, and Lyle at home, a brother, Albert Fuller, of Amboy, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Elder, Klemme
