Wayne G. Buseman rites held Monday

Funeral services for Wayne G. Buseman, 46, a former Klemme resident were held Monday afternoon, June 12, at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ. The Rev. Leroy Franz, pastor of Zion UCC, Garner, officiated. Casket bearers were Walter Bachman, Elmer Bachman, Dale Linahon, Richard Ulrich, Fred Sobek and George Netland. Ray Wille, Edward Barz, Edwin Thieman and Milvern Barz sang "In The Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset" accompanied by Anita Gerardi, organist. Interment was in the Ell Township Cemetery. The Johnston Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Buseman died late Wednesday, June 7, at Preston, Iowa where he had lived the past four years. Born at Klemme on October 2, 1921, he was the son of George and Ann Roth Buseman. As a youth he lived in Klemme and attended the Klemme Schools, graduating in 1940.

In February of 1941 he entered military service with the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1945. Much of this time was spent overseas. On August 24, 1946, he was united in marriage to Lorraine Eden at Clear Lake. They lived in Klemme until 1962 when they moved to Preston.

Surviving are his wife, Lorraine; one daughter, Constance, at home; three brothers, Erwin, Lester and Melvin, all of Belmond and a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Arlene) Hrubes of Garner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Military rites were conducted at the cemetery by the Adam-Schaefer Unit of the American Legion.
