BAACK, WACKER, HENSCHEN, SCHMIDT, KLING, WURDELMANN, CLOOCK

Elizabeth Wacker was born at Vierlang, Mecklenburg, Germany, on March 23, 1823, and died May 3, 1915, in Woden, Iowa, at the advanced age of 92 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Deceased was educated in the public schools in Germany. She was united in marriage to Friedrick Baack, in 1847 at Tewswoor, Germany. Five children, four boys and one girl, blessed this union.

1887 Mr. Baack died and the following year Mrs. Baack migrated to America and took up a home with her children at Garner, Iowa.

Mrs. Baack is mourned by Henry Baack of Woden; John Baack of Carter, Mont., and a host of friends who she had made the acquaintance of since coming to this country. Mrs. Baack had 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Although past 92 years of age, she was strong and healthy up to three days before death. She had lived a clean life, was a lifelong christian and a member of the Lutheran church.

Funeral services were held from St. John's Lutheran church on May 6, under the direction of Rev. August G. Wellner. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful and a fitting tribute to a useful life passed to the world beyond. Burial was in the Bingham Township cemetery.

Those from far away besides the immediate family who attended the funeral: Mrs. Wm. Baack and daughter Meta, Mr. and Mrs. F. Wacker, Mr. and Mrs. Henschen, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Fr. Kling, of Klemme; Mr. and Mrs. Wurdelmann and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cloock of Garner.
