July 8, 1960 - March 27, 2012GARNER - Jeffrey D. Molencamp, 51, of Garner died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 31st at Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Garner with Rev. Brian Lund officiating. Inurnment will be held at Peace Reformed Cemetery south of Garner.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M., Friday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner.
Jeffrey Dean Molencamp, the son of Robert Dean and Georgia Ann (Dunahoo) Molencamp, was born July 8, 1960 at Britt. He attended Clear Lake Community Schools. After high school, Jeff worked in the construction business with his father, Bob, and later at Winnebago Industries in Forest City. Jeff then returned to construction and started his own business, Molencamp Builders, with his brother, Mickey, in 1999. On February 23, 1991 he married Gloria Lau at Peace Reformed Church south of Garner. They lived in Garner all of their married life where they raised their family. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, boating, watercraft, bowling and traveling throughout the country by car.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Garner.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Gloria, of Garner; five children, Nicole Molencamp, Cassandra Molencamp, Cody Molencamp, Natasha Molencamp and Nicholas Molencamp all of Garner; grandson, Carson; two brothers, Mark Molencamp of Garner and Mickey Molencamp of Garner; a sister, Deon Molencamp of Klemme; a special nephew, Tim Molencamp; nieces, Shawna and Lisa; a nephew, Gregory; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Vanetta Molencamp.
