Lena Walk died today

Mr. Lena Walk, 85, Riverside Manor Nursing Home, died there early today.

She was the mother of Mrs. Tom Goettsch, 204 24th St.

Mrs. Walk had been a resident of Ames for the past seven years. She had made her home with her daughter before entering the nursing home.

Stevens Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Services set for Mrs. Lena Walk

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Walk, 85, who died early Tuesday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday from St. John's Lutheran Church, Corwith, with the Rev. Paul Lutz and the Rev. O. M. Severseike, Bethesda Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Kanawha Cemetery.

Mrs. Walk was a mother of Mrs. Tom Goettsch, 204 24th St.

Born in Germany, Mrs. Walk came to the United States as a young child. She had lived in the Corwith area until moving to Ames seven years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Goettsch.

Survivors also include nine grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Vena Leacock, Britt.
