Walter Thompson

Britt - Funeral services for Walter Thompson, 85, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Zion Church of the Nazarene at Britt. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Grupe Funeral Home in charge. He died Tuesday at Hancock County Memorial Hospital.

Born at Vermillion, S.D., he was married to Reba Clark Jan. 23, 1927.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Cook, Britt; six sons, James W. Clark, Charles City; Thomas F. Clark, Edna, Tex.; Earl H. Thompson, Mason City; S. Sgt. Wesley F. Thompson, Fort Jackson, S.C.; Roy L. Thompson, Johnson City, Tenn., William J. Thompson, Forest City.
