Henry Swanson

Britt - Henry Swanson, 78, retired farmer, died Wednesday night at Westview Retirement Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Evangelical Free Church. The Rev. Carroll Swenson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Grupe Funeral Home in Charge.

The son of Jacob and Lena Swanson, he was born in Britt Aug. 6, 1887. He was married to Lottie E. Anderson Feb. 20, 1919. They farmed in the Wesley area until retiring to Britt in 1957.

Surviving are his wife, four sons, Russell, Wesley; Maynard, Britt; Eugene, Rockford, Ill.; Leon, Austin, Minn.; four sisters, Minnie Larson, Minneapolis; Mrs. Guy Dimond and Mrs. O. W. Friedow, both of Britt; Mrs. Frank Johnson, Oakes, N. D.; four brothers, Joe, Castro Valley, Calif.; Oscar and Albert, Alexandria, Minn,; Charles, St. Paul.
