W. H. Merriam

Garner - William Henry (Harry) Merriam, 77, died Saturday at his home here. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at First Methodist Church. The Rev. Wallace A. Stark will officiate. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

Born April 4, 1889, he was married to Mettie E. Steven, Dec. 18, 1912.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Doris) Long, Monticello; Mrs. Paul (Wilma) Vicari, Woodland Hills, Calif.; a son, George, Adel; four sisters, Mrs. Lem (Jennie) Mitchell, Corwith; Mrs. Herbert (Hattie) Burlingame, Algona; Mrs. Harold (Kate) Stephenson, Algona; Mrs. Lee (Alice) Cole, Burt; a brother, Albert, Corwith, four grandchildren and a great grand daughter.
