Floy S. Lemon

Garner - Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd Shafer Lemon, 82, were held at the Bohn Funeral Home in Garner with the Rev. Wallace A. Stark of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery at Garner. Mrs. Lemon died at the Mann Nursing Home in Cherokee Saturday.

She was the daughter of Abdon and Priscilla Shafer, among the first settlers in the town of Klemme, and lived for a number of years in the Klemme community. She was born April 24, 1884.

She is survived by one son, Lyle, Lake Mills, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Ed P. (Etta) Dow, Forest City; Mrs. A. L. (Mae) Spooner, LuVerne; and Mrs. C. C. (Jessie) Suckow, Clarinda.
