Marvea Johnson
Forest City - Marvea Johnson, 75, widow of Melvin Johnson, died Monday evening at the Forest City Municipal Hospital.
Born Nov. 13, 1891, she was the daughter of Andrew H. and Betsy Erickson Nelson. She and her husband founded and operated the Timberland Museum, southeast of Pilot Knob.
Surviving are a son, Arlo C. Johnson, Forest City; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Hafira Jensen and Mrs. Wilma Bergie, both of Albert Lea.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Goldman officiating. Burial will be in Ellington Township Cemetery near Forest City.
