Andrew Brown Funeral Friday
Farmer, 67, Victim of Heart Disease; Was Native of Norway
Britt - Funeral services will be held Friday for Andrew Brown, 67, who died Monday night from heart disease.
Services will be at 1:30 at the farm home in Erin township and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church in Kanawha with the Rev. Morris Peterson delivering the funeral sermon. Burial will be in the Kanawha cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born May 6, 1874, in Norway. He came to the United States with his parents when one year old. He was married to Clara Ombig [Omvig] of Kanawha in 1906.
Mr. Brown was confirmed in the Lutheran church.
He died Monday night at a Mason City hospital where he had been taken Monday afternoon for treatment. He had been suffering for some time with heart trouble. He had lived on the same farm in Erin township, Hancock county, for the past 26 years.
Surviving are his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Gunderson of Northfield, Minn.; Mrs. George Jesse of Wesley; Sadie Brown of Britt and one son, John B. Brown of Britt. Also surviving are four brothers, two sisters and several grandchildren.
