Woden Farmer Dies; Hold Funeral Sunday

Woden - Funeral services for Conrad Skilbred, 40, farmer 6 miles northeast of Woden, will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Olson funeral home at Forest City, then at Grant Lutheran church northeast of Woden, the Rev. S. C. Simonson, pastor, officiating. Burial in Crystal cemetery.

Mr. Skilbred died at a hospital in Mason City Thursday. He had been at the hospital since Nov 12, undergoing 2 major operations.

Surviving are the widow, Christine, 2 daughters, Janet 5, and Shirley, 7 weeks; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Skilbred who live in Montana, a brother and 3 sisters.

Crystal Lake - Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sadak of Chicago and John Sturba of Wisconsin are at the home of Steve Kadlecik. They came here to attend the funeral of their nephew and brother in law, Conrad Skilbred.
