Corwith Man Buried Monday

Funeral services for James L. Oxley, 68, who died Friday at his home in Corwith, were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Grace Baptist church in Corwith. Burial was in the Corwith cemetery with the Foy Funeral Home of Emmetsburg in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Oxley was born Sept. 7, 1883, to Joseph W. and Anna Beiler Oxley. His wife, Bernice, and two children, Albert of Sioux City and Elizabeth Ann (Mrs. Larry) Freiberg of Corwith survive. Also surviving are one brother, George of Corwith, one sister, Mrs. Trix Curtis of Lakeland, Fla., and three grandchildren, Alan James Freiberg, Bruce Edward Frieberg, and Ann Elizabeth Freiberg, all of Corwith.
