MRS. JACOBSON SERVICES HELD

Britt Woman Died Following Illness of Several Months

BRITT - Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Jacobson were held Sunday at the Congregational church with the Rev. A. R. Larson preaching the funeral service, assisted by the Rev. O. M. Johnson. Burial was in the Britt Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Jacobson was born April 20, 1883, at Britt. She attended the Britt schools and was graduated from Britt high school. She attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls and taught school for nine years.

She was married to Chris Jacobson April 20, 1910, at Britt and to them were born three sons and one daughter.

Mrs. Jacobson died Thursday at her home following an illness of several months.

She was secretary of the Baptist Ladies aid, secretary treasurer of the W.C.T.U. and Britt township instructor for the Hancock county Farm Bureau.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Harold and Robert, associated with their father in the Britt Oil company, and Alan, a law student at the University of Iowa; and one daughter, Betty, a student at Britt junior college.

Also surviving are three sisters, Miss Amy Anderson, of Britt, Mrs. Henry Swanson of Wesley and Mrs, Carl Seaquest of Rutland, N. Dak; and two brothers, Albert and Charley Anderson of Britt.
