Mrs. Cosgriff Rites Tuesday at Britt Church

BRITT - Margaret Cosgriff, 92, died Saturday at the Hancock Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Justin Kane officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

She was born near Jefferson, the daughter of Daniel and Alice Haley Gilligan. She was married to Marvin Cosgriff in 1886. He died in 1947.

Survivors are five sons, John and Tom, Britt; George, Forest City; Ed, Kearney, Neb.; Martin, Britt and a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Gertrude) McGreavey, Waterloo; 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Dale (Nora) Wagoner died last month.
