Harold Oxley services set at Corwith

CORWITH: Harold W. Oxley, 58, who farmed between Corwith and Renwick, died Wednesday at the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Dodge, after a long illness.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church here. The Rev. Herman W. Smith will officiate. A prayer service for the family will precede the funeral at the Boughton Corwith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery.

Born Aug. 14, 1903, at Titonka, he was the son of Charles and Frances Mitchell Oxley. He was married June 4, 1930, to Elsie Crow at Randalia.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Merl, in the Marine Corps at Quantico, Va,; two daughters, Mrs. Merton (Arlene) Mulford, Sioux City; Mrs. William (Marion) Abbas, Ames; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Lester, Fort Worth, Tex,; Ralph, Burbank, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Annabelle Bowen, Des Moines.
