Funeral Service Held for Britt Farm Woman

Britt: Funeral services were held in the Stilson church Wednesday for Mrs. Fred Zuehl, 69, who died at a hospital in Mason City Sunday. The Rev. Leo E. Wilson officiated, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Raecker of Meservey. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery at Britt with the Boughton funeral home in charge.

Death followed a fractured pelvic bone suffered in a fall a few weeks ago.

Mrs. Zuehl was a graduate of Britt high school and Coe collage and taught school in the country. She was a Sunday school teacher and Bible class director for many years in the United Brethren church at Stilson, where she also held church membership since she came to the community.

Surviving are her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Louis Bonnett of Angus, Minn., Mrs. Clarence DeWaard of Stilson and Mrs. Ellis Fischer of Harcourt, and a son, LeRoy, living near the home place. She also leaves 2 brothers, William Fillenwarth of Britt and Arthur Fillenwarth of Sanborn.
