BRITT: Funeral services for Carrie Lapitz, 92, of Britt, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Britt. Mrs. Lapitz died Sunday (April 29, 1984) at the Britt hospital.

The Rev. John J. Brickley will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt. Visitation begins at 1 this afternoon at the Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt. A Scriptural reading will be at 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lapitz was born July 21, 1891 at Geneva to Mike and Mary (Lahetchka) Kudej. She married John Lapitz on Jan. 20, 1914 at Garner. The couple farmed south of Duncan for four years and moved to Britt in 1918 where they lived the rest of their married life.

Mrs. Lapitz is survived by one niece and two nephews.
