Funeral Mrs. Ed Wood Held Friday at Woden

Woden - Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church for Mrs. Ed Wood who died at a Rochester, Minn., hospital last Tuesday following an illness of several months. Rev C. B. Mitchell was in charge of the services.

Mrs. Wood had lived in this vicinity all her life. She was married to Edward Wood in 1901.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, William and John of Woden, Elmer of Detroit, Michigan, and Melvin at home; Three daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Godfredson of Forest City, Mrs. Kenneth Kuchenreuther of Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. John DeVries of Buffalo Center.

Also surviving are her mother, 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild, two brothers, Daniel Barth of Doran, Minn., and Henry Barth of Sabin, Minn., six sisters, Mrs. Lena Thieben of Ackley, Mrs. J. O. Johnson of Forest City, Mrs. Sophia Barth of Campbell, Minn., Mrs. Emma Barth of Lawn Hill, Mrs. Lizzie Mosher of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Anna Larson of Buffalo Center. One brother Jacob, and one sister, Mrs. Freda Abel preceded her in death.
