KANAWHA — The funeral for Mrs. Ronald (Charlene) Hughes, 31, Kanawha, who died unexpectedly Friday in a Clarion hospital, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church here.

The Rev. Harland Stenberg will officiate. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery.

Friends may call after 6 tonight and until 10 a.m. Monday at the Carter Funeral Home here.

The former Charlene Sorenson, Mrs. Hughes was a 1964 graduate of Corwith Wesley High School. She was married in 1967.

Her survivors include her husband, one daughter, Julie, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sorenson, Corwith; three brothers, Tim Sorenson, Corwith; James Thorn, Council Bluffs, and Larry Thorn, Algona, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Sorenson, Clear Lake.
