Peter Sluik

BRITT - Peter Sluik, 69, of Britt, died Sunday (Oct. 21, 1990) at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ewing Funeral Chapel, Britt, with the Rev. Aubrey McGann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt, with military rites conducted by the VFW and American Legion.

He was born March 21, 1921, at Grundy Center to Eise and Trientje (Lewerke) Sluik.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche; two daughters, Mrs. Dean (Betty) Eliason, Britt, and Mrs. Norman (Marlene) Bruhns, Buffalo Center; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Ella) Perkins, Willow, Calif., and Jean Hersbergen, Algona; three brothers, John of Manly, Hans, Monrovia, Calif., and Bernard of Rogers, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
