Mrs. John Limberg, 61, of Woden died Oct. 5 at Buffalo Center.
Born in Kamrar, daughter of Heiko and Anna Huisinga and moved with her parents to Lakota in 1910, to Woden in 1916. She married John Limberg in 1922.
Survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Anna Marie) Gingrich of Titonka, 4 grandchildren, Lanita, LeAnn, Lavida and Lanelda Gingrich; 3 brothers, Louis Huisinga of Woden; Harm Huisinga of Buffalo Center and Imko Huisinga of Woden.
Preceded by her parents, a son, Herman Leon killed in action in Korea in 1953. 2 brothers and a sister.
Service in Christian Reformed church and burial in Christian Reformed church cemetery.

Mrs. J. Limberg rites Monday at Woden
WODEN - Mrs. John (Tillie) Limberg, 61, died Thursday. A prayer service was held at the Woden Presbyterian Church Monday followed with services at the Christian Reformed Church, southwest of Woden. The Rev. John W. Maas officiated and the I. F. Hayenga assisted.
Mrs. Limberg died at the hospital at Buffalo Center where she had been a patient since Sept. 19 when she suffered a heart attack at her home in Woden.
Born at Kamrar, she was the daughter of Heiko and Anna Huisinga. She was married to John Limberg in 1922 and they farmed near Woden until 1956 when they moved to their present home in Woden.
Surviving are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Anna Marie) Gingrich, Titonka. A son, Herman Leon, was killed in action in Korea in 1953. Also surviving are four granddaughters, three brothers, Louis Huisinga, Woden, Harm Huisinga, Buffalo Center, and Imko Huisinga, Woden.
Burial was in the Christian Reformed Cemetery. The Winter Funeral Home of Buffalo Center was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Held For Woden Lady
Mrs. John (Tillie) Limberg of Woden died last Thursday morning, October 5, at the hospital at Buffalo Center where she had been confined since September 19, when she suffered a heart attack at her home in Woden, having become ill suddenly during the night. She had been stricken with previous attacks but apparently had been in good health the past year. She was 61 years of age.
Born at Kamrar, Iowa, she was the daughter of Heiko and Anna Huisinga and moved with her parents to Lakota in 1910. The family moved to a farm southwest of Woden in 1916. She was married to John Limberg in 1922 and they farmed in the community of Woden until 1956 when they moved to their present home in Woden.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Anna Marie) Gingrich of Titonka. A son, Herman Leon, was killed in action in Korea in 1953. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Lanita, LeAnn, Lavida, and Lanelda Gingrich and a son in law, Clarence Gingrich. Three brothers, Louis Huisinga of Woden, Harm Huisinga of Buffalo Center, and Imko Huisinga of Woden also survive.
Besides her son, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister who died in infancy.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 9, with a Prayer service at the Woden Presbyterian church at 1 o'clock followed with services at the Christian Reformed Church, southwest of Woden at 1:30 with the Rev. John W. Mass in charge and the Rev I. F. Hayenga assisting. The Winter Funeral Home of Buffalo Center was in charge of arrangements.
Burial was in the Christian Reformed Cemetery at Woden.
