ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Aug. 10, 1961

Funeral services for Arden Duane Engelbarts, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Engelbarts of rural Woden, were held Monday afternoon at Immanuel Luth. church at Titonka.

Engelbarts died Sat. afternoon of a self inflicted gunshot wound near his parents home.

He was born Dec. 23, 1945 at Buffalo Center. He was a member of the Imm. Luth. church at Titonka.

He is survived by his parents, two sisters at home, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Brandt of Titonka and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Engelbarts of Lakota.

Winter funeral home was in charge. Burial was in Imm. Luth. cemetery at Titonka.
