ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, July 13, 1961

Funeral services will be held 2 p. m. today at First Meth. church for Mrs. Clifford Juhl, longtime resident of the Forest City area. She died Mon. at the age of 59 at a rest home in Lake Mills.

Mrs. Beulah Montgomery Juhl was born June 10, 1902 on a farm near Algona. She moved early in her childhood to Forest City where she attended grade school and high school. She taught in rural schools in this area for several years.

She married Clifford Juhl May 5, 1927. Except for two years at Algona and two years on a farm, they had resided in Forest City. She was a lifelong member of the Meth. church.

Surviving are her son, Rodger, with the navy in the Philippine islands; a brother, Pierce D. Montgomery of Forest City and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Clarence; and by her parents.

Rev. O. W. Brand will officiate at the services this afternoon. Burial will be in Ellington cemetery. Olson funeral home in charge.
