Mrs. Fred W. Ortmeyer Dies

Mrs. Fred W. Ortmeyer, 79, who has been a resident of Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge, died Wednesday, April 12, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Chapel on the Hill at Friendship Haven. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Ell Township Cemetery at Klemme.

Mrs. Ortmeyer was preceded in death by her husband, who had been the United Methodist Church minister in Estherville. Prior to his retirement, the Rev. Mr. Ortmeyer had served at Huntington.

Survivors include a son, Homer F. Ortmeyer; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Martin, Kensington, Md.; three grandchildren and a brother.
