Farmer Near Garner Dies in Hospital

Garner - Funeral services for August H. Kropp, 69, who died Monday at the Mercy hospital in Mason City after a lingering illness, will be held at the Liberty Methodist church southwest of Garner at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Herschel F. Harvey of Klemme will officiate and burial will be in the Concord township cemetery at Garner.

August H. Kropp, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Kropp, was born at Etleh, Mo., Nov. 29, 1877. He came to this community when a young man and lived for the past 33 years on his farm southwest of Garner.

He leaves his wife, 9 children; Gilbert Kropp of Goodell; Carius Kropp of Garner; Mrs. Lucille Drugg, Forest City; Mrs. Hilda Bell, Garner; Mrs. Relma Finn, Oakland, Cal.; Orville Kropp, Garner; Lester Kropp, Garner; Miss Neva Kropp, Garner.
