Garner - Mrs. Julius (Mary Halverson) Kinden, 77, died at her home in Ventura Heights Monday following a long illness. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the United Brethren Church, Ventura. The Rev. Elton M. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home, Garner, in charge.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Halverson, she was born Aug. 15, 1885, at Decorah. She was married to Julius Kinden.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, James, Waterloo; Orville, Algona. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mrs. Morgan (Opal) Haven, Rake; Mrs. Howard (Ellen) Brewer, Ventura.
