Retired Farmer Dies; Funeral to Be Sunday

Garner - Edwin Goodyear, 74, died early Friday morning at the Hancock county home where he lived since 1918. Funeral services will be held at the Bohn funeral home Sunday at 4 p.m. with the Rev. F. C. Griewe in charge. Burial will be in the Concord township cemetery near Garner.

Edwin Goodyear, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Goodyear, was born at Camden, N. Y., in 1872. He came with his parents to Hancock county and engaged in farming.

He leaves a brother, Carroll, of Redwood Falls, Minn.; one niece, Madge Goodyear of Redwood Falls, Minn.; 3 nephews: Alan Goodyear of Redwood Falls, Minn., Clifford Steele of Attica, N. Y., and Lorenzo Steele of Brookly, N. Y.
