Funeral Services Held for George Wallace

Crystal Lake - Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for George Wallace, 87, at the Olson funeral home in Forest City at 1 o'clock and at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church with the Rev. Mirian Hotchkiss in charge.

Mr. Wallace was born April 15, 1855 in Illinois and died Nov. 15, 1942, at the home of his son, Roy Wallace, where he had made his home since the death of his wife about seven years ago.

The pallbearers were B. A. Steffen, John Steffen, Alfred Hagen, Chris Kuch, Chris Gillstrap and M. Iverson. Burial was made in the Crystal Lake cemetery beside his wife.
