Mrs. C. Kyhl, 64, Dies At Britt

Rites to Be Held Thursday Afternoon

Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Kyhl, who died early Monday morning at the Forest City hospital, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home north of Britt and at 2 o'clock at the Upper Flat church with the Rev. O. M. Johnson in charge. Burial will be in the Crystal cemetery at Crystal Lake.

She was born March 20, 1878 in Denmark and came to America at the age of 17 years. She was married to Chris Kyhl in 1902 in Clinton county. They moved to their present farm home in 1909. Mrs. Kyhl has been ill for the past two months.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, H. J. Kyhl of Britt; Emil Kyhl of Forsythe, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs. Elina Shirah, of Washington D. C., and Mrs. Freda Katter of Garner, a brother, Carl Hartvigsen of Maquoketa and one brother and a sister in Denmark. One daughter, Alma, died in infancy.
