Garner Man Dies at Mason City Hospital
Hiram Walker, 65, Garner, died at a Mason City hospital at 9:40 o'clock Monday night following an illness. He was admitted to the hospital Sunday.

Hiram Walker Rites Conducted at Garner
Garner - Funeral services for Hiram Walker, 65, farmer 3 miles east of Garner were Wednesday afternoon at the home at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. T. Ernest Hoon, pastor of the local Methodist church in charge. He had been ill several months and Sunday was taken to a hospital in Mason City and died late Monday night from heart disease. Born in Carroll, Ill., Oct. 5, 1871, he came here when he was a young man and was married to Miss Hortense Fenniger who with a son and daughter survive. The son, Willard, arrived Monday from Chicago. A daughter, Ivy, who is married lives at Beloit, Wis.
