Garner - Funeral services for Alex Merritt Roesdahl, 71, will be held at the United Presbyterian Church in Garner at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Paul G. Gabrielson in charge of the service. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery, Garner, with the Bohn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He died early Tuesday at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital.

The son of Carl and Dorathea Matilda Roesdahl, he was born at Clear Lake, March 3, 1890. In 1914 he was married to Clara C Anderson, who died in 1960. He later was married to Mrs. Ann Dickson who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alton (Emma) Ihlts and Mrs. Ann Knutson, both of Clear Lake.

Roesdahl formerly owned and operated the Home Dairy at Garner.
