County Pioneer, Jake Riggle, 100, Dies at Corwith

Corwith - Jake Riggle, a resident of Hancock county since 1887, died at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Sunday, at the age of 100 years. He is widely known over the county, having farmed in the Corwith, Woden and Crystal Lake vicinities and also operated a cafe in Corwith a couple of years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1:30 at his home in Corwith, and 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Corwith with interment to be made in the Corwith Cemetery.
