Mrs. Rasmus [Rasmussen] Of Garner Is Dead

Five Children and Husband Survive Woman Born in Denmark

Garner, June 6 - Memorial services will be held here in the Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. D. J. Lewis and the Rev. G. D. Halverson officiating, for Mrs. Peter Rasmus, 73.

Mrs. Rasmus was born in Birket, Denmark, and with her husband and five children came here in 1901. Up to seven years ago, Mrs. Rasmus lived on a farm nearby. Mrs. Rasmus still held membership in the Ellington Prairie Lutheran church but had been a consistent adherent of the local Presbyterian church.

Mrs. Rasmus' husband and five children survive her. The children are: Carl, Mrs. Margaret Anderson, Christian, Mrs. Christine Gelner and Anton. Only a week ago with all the children and grandchildren she helped observe the birthday of her youngest grandchild at the home of the baby's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Rasmus. She died yesterday morning.
