Rites Conducted for Britt Farmer

Britt - Funeral services were conducted for Swan Rapp, Britt farmer. He had been ill for a long time. Services were held at the Evangelical Church with the Rev. E. V. Streed in charge. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Rapp had lived in and around Britt since 1911. He was on the gas rationing board during World War II, served on the board of directors for the Farmers Co-Operative Company, was a corn sealer for ten years and an officer on the committee for soldiers relief. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion, having served in World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Millie; a brother, John, and two half brothers, Andrew Hansen, Forest City and Pete Lungren, Minneapolis.
