Britt Farmer Dies at Home; Rites Wednesday

Britt - Joseph Leerar, 82, died Sunday at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Brethren Church at Stilson with the Rev. Donald Varce in charge. A prayer service will be held at the Boughton Funeral Home.

Mr. Leerar, a retired farmer, is survived by his wife; five sons, Jacob, Corwith; William, Herman and Alvin, Britt and Fred, Kanawha; three daughters, Mrs. Orville (Caroline) Slagle, Billings, Mont.; Mrs. Leonard (Esther) Monson and Mrs. Etto (Ruth) Gremmer Jr., both of Britt.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.
