Michael Jordan Died at Cherokee Hospital Friday, November 2

Britt - Michael Jordan was born in Wisconsin April 22, 1875, and passed away November 2, 1934, at 2 a.m., at the State hospital at Cherokee, following an illness of 12 years.
He was married to Mary Fitzpatrick, a teacher at Fenton, in 1908, and moved to a farm in Erin township, where he was a prominent farmer for many years.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife and three children, Raymond and Florence, of Britt and Maurice of Emmetsburg. One brother, William, of Elma, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Barry, of Belmond, and Mrs. Eugene McGurk, Britt.
Mr. Jordan was a member of St. Patrick's church in Britt and at one time was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Modern Woodman Lodges.
Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Monday at the St. Patrick's Catholic church, Britt, with Father Quirin in charge of the service. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery east of Britt.
