Miss Bertha Drown, Former Britt Girl, Died In Des Moines

Remains Brought To Britt And Laid To Rest By Side Of Her Mother

Britt - Miss Bertha Drown, former Britt girl, died at her home in Des Moines Friday, July 13, from goiter infection. Miss Drown taught in the Britt school prior to going to Des Moines, where she has been teaching since 1908.

Remains were brought to Britt on Monday, following services in Des Moines. Services here were in charge of the members of the P.E.O. and her remains were laid to rest by the side of her mother and brother.
