Christie Neuberger

Funeral services were held November 23, 1979 at Klemme United Methodist Church for Christie Neuberger. Rev. Don Griffin spoke the words of comfort and music was provided by Thelma Arnold and Beverly Thorson accompanied on the organ by Muriel Schultz.

Casket bearers were Russell Schwartz, Chad Baker, David Neuberger, Harold Trimbel, Joe Gibbs, and Billy Neuberger, Jr.

Interment was in Klemme Cemetery and Quesenberry Funeral Homes of Klemme and Belmond was in charge of arrangements.

Christie Neuberger was born December 25, 1898 at Shabonna, Ill. and she passed away on November 20, 1979 at Belmond, Ia.

Mrs. Neuberger was the daughter of Robert and Mary Holmes. She graduated from Clear Lake High School and taught school for ten years in the Ventura area.

On March 5th, 1921 she married Clarence Neuberger. Together they farmed in the Klemme area.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Klemme and the Martha circle.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, Clarence, two brothers, Louis Holmes of Mason City and Roy Holmes of Knoxville, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Grace) Trimble of Clear Lake and Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Fessenden of Mason City.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
